The Margaret River Region is known for its wineries and great forest scenery. On the way from Margaret River to Walpole and Denmark the road takes you through an enormous woodland of tingle trees which seem to reach as high as the eye can see. The lonely planet described the roadtrip in this area as magical and it sure was!

Many people told us Margaret River is a great place for wine and they were right! The town is just lovely and it is surrounded by many wineries. We went to Voyager Estate winery and we tried 3 different white wines and 3 red wines and we ended up buying a bottle of Chenin Blanc that was just great!
But Voyager Estate is not the only winery in Margaret River and the entire region is filled with good restaurants, hand made products (fudge, chocolat, jams and the latest Ugg boots all are made in this area.) and the best wine tastings.

After Rockingham we drove south to Dunsborough. On our way we stopped in Mandurah, Bunbury and Busselton where we went take a look at the longest jetty of the southern emisphere. The Busselton jetty is 2k long and is the main tourist attraction in this cute seaside town.
