This tuesday I came banck from a long weekend off spent with my girlfriend in Budapest, Hungary.

I had never been to Hungary before and had heard that Budapest was a beautiful city so we decided to book a weekend deal on the internet.

In October me and my husband went on a holiday to Rome, the capital city of Italy and probably one of the most impressive places within Europe.

The historic centre of Rome was the place we could call our home for seven days and did we love it!

Eventhough Rome has a lot of interesting neighbourhoods you could easily fill a one week holiday just by exploring the centre with its many pittoresque streets, mindblowing monuments and impressive remains.

Finally I got to see Roman masterpieces like the Colosseum and the Fontana di Trevi, sites every self respecting...

Last month I've on a field trip to the United Kingdom, to visit London with my classmates.

We had a lot of fun during our time in London and especially during our time off the touring programme when we could go shopping or have a drink by ourselves.

Topshop was my favourite shop and they had so many nice things!

We also did a lot of sightseeing...

This June my daughter has moved to Bruges in Belgium for a year of study and it surprised me that I had never visited this beautiful city.

Bruges is just a train ride away from Amsterdam where we live but you really experience being abroad as the atmosphere is really friendly and less chaotic than back home.

Barcelona is one of the world's most visited cities and the combination of the having the beach nearby, being able to enjoy a long summer and having tons of places to go and visit explains why.

This August me and my friends flew to Barcelona for a 5 days holiday in the city and another week in Lloret de Mar.

Both places are really nice and we had a lot of fun the entire holiday. While Lloret de Mar has the beach and the relaxing vibe Barcelona is the perfect place to go sightseeing.
