Nightlife and ocean waters in Albufeira

If there is one thing that I can say about my trip to Albufeira in Portugal it would be that you really have to earn your way to this little paradise! Flying from Rome the connection with Albufeire is horrible and travelling to Portugal is always very stressful.

Consider the fact that you would have exactly four minutes to get from the arrival gate in Lissabon, where the flight makes a stop, to the check in for Faro, in Portugal. Well, once you're onboard your luggage looks just as worn out as your own outfit but you are not there yet! From Faro Airport the bus to Algarve leaves exactly ten minutes after arrival so you're in for another race.

From Faro to Algarve by bus and then, finally you can cath your taxi to Albufeira, the travel destination you so deserve after this long day!

Albufeira is a great place for a holiday and there is a lot of entertainment and things to do. There are a lot of young people, a buzzling nightlife and most streets are filled with bars, restaurants and night clubs. During the day you can relax on the beach which is really nice. Just keep out of the cold ocean waters because even at 40 degrees, they're still freezing!
