Me and my boyfriend just came back from an incredible trip to Spain where we weren't blessed with good weather every single day but there sure was a lot of good Spanish food to go with that sangria! We chose to do a sort of round trip and rented a car upon arrival in Madrid where we would spend our first three days. I will dedicate a small travel blog to every destination on our itinerary starting off with Madrid the capital city of Spain. We made sure to book our accomodation always with a parking space so that we would not spend our time driving around Madrid looking for a good spot but instead have some more time to do other fun things. We had an hotel on Gran Via (Madrid Reina Victoria Hotel ****) which would be the most important road running through the center of Madrid where you will find a ton of great shops, takeaways and hotels. From here we did our sightseeing since you can walk everywhere from Gran Via and you're already within the city center of Madrid. Pictured below you will find Plaza de EspaƱa, the Teatro Real, the Palacio Real, the Almudena Cathedral, El Prado Museum, the church of San Jeronimo Real, the Royal Academy of Spanish Language, Plaze de Oriente e Puerta del Sol. Did you enjoy Round trip Spain: Madrid and have you been on a holiday in Madrid, Spain?
