Pictures of Venice Italy

Venice is one of the most romantic places in Italy and definitely worth a visit if you intend to visit the north of Italy.

Venice is known for its pittoresque and narrow streets which add up to a labyrinth made out of canals and theatrical feel that owns this amazing city. Eventhough I went to Venice by myself I would recommend a holiday in Venezia to any couple looking for a romantic getaway.

Travel Venice

Everywhere I looked during my sightseeing tour I saw another opportunity to take pictures and more pictures.

The best and maybe also the most unique way to view Venice obviously is by gondola and guided by my personal gondelier a dream came true while we peddled in the Grand Canal along all the city's nicest attractions.

Everything during my stay was perfect, except for the weather maybe, and I enjoyed every single bit of my holiday in Venice.

Venice is also home to Italy's most famous carnival festivities which are held all over town with some of the most beautiful displays of carnival masks and costumes. During my stay in february I was lucky enough to see some of the first carnival decorations which was really nice and made my holiday in Venice complete.

It goes without saying that seeing the Piazza San Marco with its famous pigeons and the La Fenice Operahouse were some of the highlights of my gondola adventure in Venice, a beautiful city trip!
