What a dream holiday! We have spend an incredible two weeks in Tanzania combining a safari holiday with a beach holiday in Zanzibar where we stayed at the fanbulous Essque Zalu Zanzibar Resort.

Words won't describe this picture perfect destination and we felt so blessed that we could have this experience and enjoy all the beauty that Tanzania has to offer.

The last couple of weeks have been truly amazing and my trip to Egypt was so special and I have seen so many beautiful places that it will be hard to describe the magic of it all.

I always had this negative idea of Egypt for it being to touristic or even corky but standing in front of those pyramids you feel so small and it really takes you back to another era.

I knew I didn't want to stay three weeks in the same beach resort so me and my husband decided to go with a rountrip covering the most visited places in Egypt and covering both the beach as the sightseeing spots.

On that same route you will find Oudtshoorn which on its own marks the beginning of a new itinerary, the Route 62 wine route. Besides being known for its great wines Oudtshoorn has some other nice tourist hightlights.

I visited the Cango Caves at the foothills of the Swartberg range and the steep rock formations really challenged me but the caves were beautiful.

A good tip: On the road leading to the Cango Caves you will find the Cango Wildlife Ranch which is awesome.

Like I said Plettenberg Bay is on of the best place to go on an ocean safari as chances to meet up with the whales here are pretty good.

Like the Kruger National Park also the coastline and the city of Cape Town have their charme and a combination trip between wildlife safari's, coastal drives and city sightseeing would be the best way to explore South Africa.

The areas to visit from Cape Town are numerous and therefor make sure to spend at least a week around this impressive city.
