Transformed from its late Victorian origins, Ellingham House, an elegant Victorian villa, was This hotel was built in 1897 and has had a tip to toe refurbishment and now offers luxury bed and breakfast boutique style accommodation with the best in modern comforts and a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Large spacious bedrooms are richly furnished with modern elegance and style whilst the house retains many of its original features, including our breakfast room which is warmly furnished with antiques. High standards of comfort and contemporary facilities are reflected in all areas of the house such as comfy beds, stylish tiled bathrooms, soft fluffy towels and WiFi. We are located in a quiet conservation area of Colwyn Bay that is both green and leafy and yet only a 5 minutes walk away from the town centre and main line station, the sea front promenade with it's Blue Flag beach, and Rydal Penrhos School. The A55 North Wales expressway is only a 3 min. drive from Ellingham House. The local area offers many places of interest with historic walled town of Conwy, Bodnant Garden, and the Snowdonia National Park a short drive away. Whatever your reason for staying, whether it be for business or pleasure, you will be well looked after at Ellingham House.

From the East - Chester, Rhyl and AbergeleTake the A55 eastbound and leave at junction 20 signposted Rhos on Sea. At the exit traffic lights, turn right and immediately, turn left at the next traffic lights by Lidl supermarket. After about mile, after St Johns church and the War Memorial gardens both on your right, turn right up Coed Pella Road by the Job Centre. Woodland Park West is the third turning on the left and Ellingham House is the large red brick house on the corner.
