Mrs. Madhu Singh was a housewife and since her childhood she had a special crush towards the wall paintings and the heritage sculptures. She was lucky enough to land up in the Shekhawati region after her marriage with Dr. Karamveer Singh, a well known medical professional of Shekhawati region. One fine day they happened to visit the Haveli of Murarkas Patna walo ki haveli at Nawalgarh. The couple was much influenced by the heritage sculpture, fine fresco paintings, huge varandahs and pillars of the haveli. They decided to purchase the haveli and rennovate the same into a heritage hotel of their own, with a view to keep their interest alive to save the extincting art which is slowly fading into its own history.The Patnawalo ki haveli of Murarkas at Nawalgarh is a masterpiece of its own kind. The Haveli is more than 100 years old, and from here begins the evolution of The Grand Haveli and Resort.Nawal Garh is located 40 Kms from Jhunjhunu and 144 kms from Jaipur on the Delhi Jaipur highway. The Grand Haveli and Resort is located at Bawarigate next to old bus stand at Nawalgarh and stand tall amidst all the havelis in the surrounding region and is the best heritage hotel of the region with all facilities which is likely to be present in a class Heritage hotel. The renovation of the building was done with a special care without damaging the ancient paintings and the monuments. All this can be seen in each and every part of the hotel. History NawalGarh was established in the year 1937 by Kunwar Nawal Singh and from the old time itself it was known as Dhan Kubero ki Nagri Land Of God Of Wealth. It originally started in the form of collection of small Havelis in the town and later on they developed in the form of huge havelies which today stand tall and leaves a history behind them. The main attraction of all these havelis is the stone wall paintings of the ancient era which can be still seen on these heritage sculptures. Nawalgarh has a unique name when it comes in context of old monuments and grand havelis and leaves a distinctive name of its own in the Shekhawati region.There are hundreds of havelis in this area which bear the wonderful fresco paintings in various everlasting colours and designs.
