The Hohhot Hotel Huhehaote binguan is an old fashioned place located in the city center, only a few minutes walk from the railway station. The hotel consists of three main buildings, with 400 guestrooms or suites. All the basic amenities are here, including color televisions, telephones and air-conditioning. The hotel's rooms are not of the most impressive standard, however, but the convenience of being near to the centre is hard to beat. In terms of comforts the hotel has a few facilities, including a beauty salon, a gymnasium and a shopping center. There are also 12 conference rooms and a business center that provides guests with typing, fax, photocopying services and IDD telephone access. There is one Chinese restaurant that serves Cantonese, Sichuan and local dishes.
