I will never forget my incredible trip to the country of Pelè, Rio de Janeiro, Copacabana, the Maracanà stadium, the Pao de Azucar and the statue of the Christ the Redeemer also called the Corcovado. Standing there it kind of makes you wonder how they got that enormous statue up the hill! We also visited the amazing waterfalls of Iguazu at the border between Argentina and Brazil. We even went for a ride in one of the rafting boats which was absurd and a great memory! Of course we strolled like tourists along Copocabana, one of the most visited places in whole Brazil and just as popular as the buzzling carneval festivities of Salvador de Bahia where we stayed for two weeks in the middle of samba beats and dancing people having the time of their life. It has been the best 15 days of my life and thanks Leonardo, a Brazilian guy we met, we even got to experience the real Brazilian way of life, a visit to the favelas of Salvador de Bahia included. A great country with great people! Did you enjoy Salvador and Rio de Janeiro and have you been on a holiday in Salvador, Brazil?
