Bangkok is a beautiful city to stay at least a few days in because of the many sites to see. If you have enough time to explore Bangkok and feel like going on a tour you might want to visit the Ancient City of Muang Boran. The Ancient City lies about a 40 km drive south of the busy city center and truly is an oasis to walk around in. You can easily rent a cab or a tuk tuk to get here as they will take you to the Ancient City in a split second. The nice thing about the site of Muang Boran is its tranquillity and amazing combination between lush gardens and beautiful palaces, thai teak wood houses and temples. Some of the palaces to visit are the Sanphet Prasat Palace and the Dusit Maha Prasat Palace, also known as the Grand Palace. Both have incredible architecture and decoration. The scenery is just as magical with beautiful gardens like the Garden of the Gods with its curious shrines and the Garden of the Sacred Stupa. If you have travelled in Thailand i almost looks like a bit of every city has been collected in the Ancient City of Bangkok, from the ruins of Ayuttahaya to the beautiful golden shrines of Chang Mai and so many other sites in Thailand. Muang Boran's Ancient City is pretty big and you will easily fill an entire day of sightseeing exploring a magical side of Bangkok that will take you back to the days of ancient Siam. Did you enjoy Tour Ancient city of Bangkok and have you been on a holiday in Bangkok, Thailand?
