Pictures of Naples Italy

This June I went to Naples with some friends to spend a weekend somewhere else. We drove south from Rome untill we reached Naples which in the end is just a 2 and a half hour ride away.

The weird thing is that I have lived in Rome my whole life and had never been to Naples!

Of course it might not be the safest place in the world for tourists, or well actually usually tourists don't even know what happens around them because they don't understand the language, but in the end Naples is a really beautiful city that definitely deserves a visit.

My advice would be to leave your designer glasses at home because they do spot a stranger from a mile away and it's true that they will try to rip you off on any other occasion.

Friends of mine had some stuff stolen from their car while they were driving in it! Leaving the window of your car open makes it really easy for little thugs on scooters to grab something out of your car while you're waiting at the traffic lights..

So being Italian helped me knowing all these do's and don't about Naples and then it becomes so easy to enjoy this gorgeous city as it still is the best place to taste a true divine Pizza Margherita and I must say there's nothing like a real Neapolitan espresso with a ciambella, baba' or graffa to bite in for breakfast!
