Manama is the capital of Bahrain with a beautiful skyline and a very developed city centre. The CBD of the city is packed with tall skyscrapers and compared to the rolling sand dunes on the rest of the island this city really stands out. Manama has two pair of twin towers, the ones of the Bahrain World Trade Centre and those of the Bahrain Financial Harbor which look out over the harbour of the city's financial district. All four towers decorate Manama's city skyline and make for a spectacular panorama together with constructions like the Almoayyed Tower and the building of the National Bank of Bahrain which can be recognized by the waving Bahrein flag on top of the skyscraper. Me and my wife spend our first days sightseeiing and photographing some of these architectual masterpieces. We spend the remaining days strolling around the local markets, visiting the Bahrain National Museum, the Al Fateh Mosque and we headed to the nearby Camel Farm. The Camel Farm can be reached from Manama by taxi and was just amazing. The camels were beautiful and we even got to see some calves which made the experience even better! Did you enjoy Manama and the Bahrain Camel Farm and have you been on a holiday in Manama, Bahrain?

Travel ReviewLiked: The camel calves were amazing and I loved visiting the markets.
Disliked: Manama is beautiful but most nocturnal activities are concentrated around the resorts which make a lot of tourists miss out on the real Bahrein experience.
